Signalling

The signalling system is of a very sophisticated design for such a small railway.  It was designed by a professional, Dave Biss, who carries out design work for full-size railways.

It is entirely computer-controlled from a central signal box, situated in the main station area. The computer systems were designed by Neil Horder.

The recent addition of a semaphore signal gantry has completely altered the look of the station area and is magnificent when lit up at night.
